FBN Co. is a government-owned corporation, fully funded by the Government of Floptropica, tasked with designing, building, and operating the nation’s digital backbone. Our mission is to deliver high-speed broadband access to every Floptropican, no matter where they live.

As the cornerstone of Floptropica’s digital future, FBN Co. is committed to bridging the digital divide, enabling connectivity for businesses, households, schools and communities across the Island Nations of Floptropica.

Our Technology

FBN Co. delivers connectivity via a Multi-Technology Mix (MTM), utilising a blend of modern infrastructure types suited to the diverse geography of Floptropica:

• FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) – for ultra-fast, future-ready connectivity
• FTTN (Fibre to the Node) – leveraging existing copper infrastructure
• FTTC/B (Fibre to the Curb/Building) – a balance of speed and rollout efficiency
• Fixed Wireless – delivering fast broadband to semi-urban and rural areas
• Satellite – connecting remote and regional communities across Floptropica’s outer regions

Each address in Floptropica is provisioned with a technology type based on location, infrastructure access, and regional planning.

FBN Co. services 100% of addresses in Floptropica. Whether you reside in a dense metro core or an outlying regional hub, FBN Co. ensures access to essential broadband services through the most appropriate delivery method.

Regulatory Oversight & Governance

FBN Co. operates under the oversight of the Ministry of Digital Infrastructure & Telecommunications and reports directly to The Government through an annual performance review. All projects are funded through the National Connectivity Allocation, administered by the Treasury of Floptropica.
